For this style we make your top with buttonholes in the front and back of the collar to put x2 clergy collarette studs in to attach the collar. When placing your order, you can now choose this as an extra. You will need to buy a seperate detachable clergy collarette and two short studs from another supplier (see the example picture below for the collar version you can buy).
Please note there are two different versions of Tonsure collar, we use the traditional method with studs. There is also a modern method out there using two male snap poppers in the front of top and two female of the white collar, this is a differnt style of collar, we are not able to do this method as poppers will not stay in our stretch fabric.
Being environmentally conscious we advise a cold wash 20-30c and hung to dry.
Interestingly for such a soft feeling fabric, when bamboo gets wet it
becomes very strong and stiff as it retains water unlike polyesters.
For this reason I hang my bamboo on the outside of my clothes rail or
the prime drying spot as it does take a little longer to dry.
Bamboo fibre will fluff up and become softer over time making it even more comfortable to wear.
Be careful not to wash items with metal objects thay might hook.
