Women's bamboo knickers, sustainably made in the UK, right here in our workshop. This is our classic low-rise, hip hugging knicker, we've designed them with comfort in mind. We hope you find bamboo as life changing as we do!
We are constantly amazed by the properties of bamboo, and love to let you in on its secrets. Its breathability helps to regulate your body temperature, leaving you feeling fresher for longer. Bamboo also holds colour very well, which means colours won't fade like other materials over time with wash and wear as easily.
Sewn in Worcestershire, UK. Made from: Fabric - 95% Bamboo Viscose, 5% Elastane. Our standard weight is actually more like a winter weight, at 260gm and our summer weight is a more standard weight at 190gm.
Heart buttons - Made from Coconut shells, Lace - Made in Nottingham nylon/poly/elastane upcycled dead stock from closed/retired factory.
These knickers have changed our lives in more ways than one, as this are the first piece Lottie created when she first started out! We've had a lace change, label upgrades, tweaks to the pattern, and many more knicker shape additions as our ranges takes shape naturally over the last 10 years.
Being environmentally conscious we advise a cold wash 20-30c and hung to dry.
Interestingly for such a soft feeling fabric, when bamboo gets wet it
becomes very strong and stiff as it retains water unlike polyesters.
For this reason I hang my bamboo on the outside of my clothes rail or
the prime drying spot as it does take a little longer to dry.
Bamboo fibre will fluff up and become softer over time making it even more comfortable to wear.
Be careful not to wash items with metal objects thay might hook.
If you can wear an item of clothing 50 times instead of the average 5 you
reduce the average carbon emissions of your clothing item by 400% 💚🌍
