This woody soap is a long standing favorite for both men and women. It’s a great all rounder for everyday use on hands, face and body.
The French Green Clay we’ve used softly draws out impurities from the skin, whilst the Cedar Wood essential oil is great for oily skin and acne. It is also beneficial for sensitive, dry or eczema prone skin, helping to alleviate itching and irritation. Lavender essential oil calms and heals, Patchouli helps to ground and Cedarwood has a great calming effect on the senses.
This Bar has been formulated by Wild Sage & Co. a lovely cottage industry soap maker called Julie just down the road from us in Hereford.
Natural Properties: Castor Oil has antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties and works wonders for blemished or acne prone skin. Its astringent qualities clear away excess dirt and old skin, helping to prevent blocked pores.
Organic Shea Butter is well known as a deeply moisturising butter. High in levels of vitamin A, it is known to improve skins elasticity and reduce the appearance of marks and scars.
Himalayan Pink helps to replenishes 84 trace minerals that give your skin a healthy glow. It soothes tired muscles and can be used as a mild exfoliant.
Green Clay gently draws out and readily absorbs impurities in the skin, allowing them to be washed away. It stimulates the blood flow leaving skin feeling soft, supple and revitalised.
Ingredients: Sodium Olivate(Olive Oil) Sodium Cocoate (Coconut Oil) Sodium Castorate (Castor Oil) Aqua (water) Sodium Shea Butterate (Shea Butter) Sodium Chloride (Himalayan Pink Salt) Green Ultra Ventilated Argiletz French Clay, Cedrus Atlantica (Cedarwood Oil) Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender Oil) Pogostemon Cablin (Patchouli Oil) *Geraniol,*Limonene,*Linalool, Glycerine (Naturally occurring) (*Naturally occurring in Essential Oils)
Soap Care: When you're not using your soap it's best to keep them out of water on a well-drained surface, allowing it to dry between uses. Use a soap dish (wooden dishes with open slats are perfect) or you could even be a bit creative and use a few pebbles from the garden. This will help keep your soap happy so you can keep feeling naturally fresh and fragrant for as long as possible!
Being environmentally conscious we advise a cold wash 20-30c and hung to dry.
Interestingly for such a soft feeling fabric, when bamboo gets wet it
becomes very strong and stiff as it retains water unlike polyesters.
For this reason I hang my bamboo on the outside of my clothes rail or
the prime drying spot as it does take a little longer to dry.
Bamboo fibre will fluff up and become softer over time making it even more comfortable to wear.
Be careful not to wash items with metal objects thay might hook.
If you can wear an item of clothing 50 times instead of the average 5 you
reduce the average carbon emissions of your clothing item by 400% 💚🌍
